While it is indeed the year 2018, and not many people use cash or check as a form of payment, there are indeed those that continue to prefer these payment methods over Credit/Debit!  When accepting/handling cash and check payments, organization becomes more difficult and time consuming.  

But, don't worry!  Upper Hand gives you the ability to easily and seamlessly track who has or hasn't paid directly from the event roster!  Below are step by step instructions on how to accomplish this:

  1. Navigate to "Events" and use the search bar to locate and click on the event that the client has registered for.
  2. Under the Clients Tab, locate the client that you need to cancel the payment for.  Tip: Utilize the "Search" to easily locate a client.
  3. Click on the Blue Transactions Hyperlink.
  4. Click the Status Drop-Down beneath Method, and then mark the event as Paid.

Expert Tip: There are several options you can use within the Status Drop-Down to stay more on top of your incoming client payments.  You can leverage the Transactions Report to filter on certain payment statuses, i.e. Past Due payment etc.
